Housing

What This Is

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Newman Center offers limited student housing connected to the life and mission of the community.

This housing exists to support students who are engaged in the spiritual and communal rhythms of the Newman Center. It is not a standalone program and is not always available. Housing varies from year to year depending on space, staffing, and the needs of the community.

Because of this, housing is offered intentionally and through conversation rather than through a generic application process.

Who It’s For

Housing may be a good fit for:

  • Students enrolled at the University of Utah

  • Individuals open to shared community life

  • Those willing to participate in the spiritual and communal rhythms of the Newman Center

Housing is not designed to meet every student’s needs, and not every student who inquires will be a good fit.

What This Is / What This Is Not

What Housing Is

  • A limited offering connected to the mission of the Newman Center

  • Part of a shared community life

  • Discerned through conversation and mutual fit

  • Integrated with the spiritual life of the community

What Housing Is Not

  • A guaranteed or always-available option

  • A general student housing program

  • A listing service or apartment complex

  • A benefit or perk of participation

  • An application-based process

Housing is not offered to everyone who inquires, and availability cannot be assumed.

How to Inquire
