Our Commitment to Safe Environment

The protection of children, young people, and vulnerable adults is a sacred trust and moral imperative of our community. Our Newman Center is firmly committed to providing a safe environment for all who participate in our ministries, programs, and activities. We take seriously our responsibility to maintain the highest standards of conduct and to ensure that all staff, volunteers, and ministers who work with minors and vulnerable adults have completed safe environment training and background checks as required by our diocese. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of vigilance, transparency, and accountability, where the dignity and safety of every person is upheld. Any allegation of abuse or misconduct will be treated with the utmost seriousness and reported immediately to the appropriate civil and ecclesiastical authorities in accordance with diocesan policies and civil law.
